Eligibility Criterias
The eligibility criterias for to apply for recruitment of VAS under the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service are listed below:
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have possessed the B.V.Sc. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) or B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry).
- Language Requirement: The candidate must have passed the SSLC Exam with Tamil as one of the languages.
- Registration Requirement: The candidate must be registered as a Veterinary Practitioner with the Tamil Nadu State Veterinary Council.
- Age Limit: The candidate’s age shouldn’t be below 21 years, the upper age limit for is 32 years, as ig July 01, 2025; there is no upper age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs.
OTR & Exam Fee
To apply for the TNPSC VAS Recruitment 2025 a candidate is required to pay the OTR (One-Time Registration) Fee of 150 rupees, if one hasn’t paid in the last 5 years, and the Exam Fee of 200 rupees using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or any other provided payment gateway.
Selection Process

Written Exam: It is going to held from 20 to 23 July 2025 in CBT mode, there will be two papers in the exam: Paper 1 will be the Tamil Eligibility Test, General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability; and Paper 2 will be Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science.
