Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2025 for 19 Posts, Apply Online Start on May 12!

The Territorial Army is recruiting Officers within the organization for which the notification is released on May 07, 2025 for a total number of 19 vacancies. The window to apply is all set to be available from May 12, 2025, 10:00 am, and the aspirants will have time until June 13, 2025, 11:55 pm to apply online.

Out of total positions, 18 are Male and 1 for Female. Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criterias for the Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2025 is available below in terms of nationality, age limit, educational qualification, physical standards, employment.

• Nationality: The candidate must be a permanent resident of India.
• Age Limit: The age of candidate shouldn’t be below 18 years and above  42 years as of June 10, 2025.
• Educational Qualification: One must have pursued BA, BSc, BCom, BTech, BE, BCA, BBM, or any equivalent UG degree from an institution recognized by the UGC, AICTE, etc,.
• Physical Standards: The individual must be physically and medically fit, whose details are available below:
  • Male:
    • Height: 160 cm (5’3″)
    • Weight: Minimum 50 kg
    • Chest: Minimum 5 cm expansion
    • Vision: 6/6 in one eye, 6/9 in the other
    • Hearing: Normal
  • Female:
    • Height: 152 cm (5’0″)
    • Weight: Minimum 46 kg
    • Vision: 6/6 in one eye, 6/9 in the other
    • Hearing: Normal
• Employment: The individual must be employed in
  • Central/State Government, or
  • Semi-Government, or
  • Public Sector Undertakings (PSU), or
  • Private Sector, or
  • Self-employed/Own Business

Note: Individuals who are serving the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, GREF, Para-Military Forces, etc., are not eligible to apply for the  Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2025.

Application Fee:

To apply for recruitment of Officers under the  Territorial Army, a candidate is required to pay a non-refundable fee of 500 rupees whether an individual belongs to UR, OBC, EWS, SC, ST or PH category. The deadline to pay the required fee using the debit or credit card, NET banking and UPI is June 13, 2025.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the Territorial Army  Officer Recruitment 2025 consists of Online Entrance Examination and Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview. The details about each can be found from the below:

• Online Entrance Examination: It is scheduled to be held on July 20, 2025. There will be two papers, for each candidate will get the time duration of 1 hour, there will be no break between two papers. In Paper 1, there will be 50 MCQs from Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics; and in Paper 2, there will be 50 MCQs from General Knowledge and English. Each question will be of 1 mark, no mark will be deducted for incorrect response; and the medium of exam will be only English.
• Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview: It includes Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test, candidates who have passed the Online Entrance Examination will be called for it. There is a high speculation that it will be held within a few weeks after the anniversary of the result for OEE.

Salary 

Individuals who will be appointed as Officer under the Territorial Army will get the monthly salary as per pay Level, you may check the details about it from the below.

• Lieutenant (Level 10): ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500
• Captain (Level 10A): ₹61,300 – ₹1,93,900
• Major (Level 11): ₹69,400 – ₹2,07,200
• Lieutenant Colonel (Level 12A): ₹1,21,200 – ₹2,12,400
• Colonel (Level 13): ₹1,30,600 – ₹2,15,900
• Brigadier (Level 13A): ₹1,39,600 – ₹2,17,600

Additionally, the individuals will get the Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹15,500 each month during training and military service.
