GSSSB Additional Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2025 for 824 Posts!

The Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board, Gandhinagar released the Advertisement No: 303/2025-26 for the recruitment of Additional Assistant Engineer (Civil), Class-III cadre under Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar Division for a total number of 824 vacancies:

• UR: 376 (285 Male + 91 Female)

• EWS: 99 (75 Male + 24 Female)

• SEBC: 251 (189 Male + 62 Female)

• SC: 46 (35 Male + 11 Female)

• ST: 52 (38 Male + 14 Female)

The window to apply for this recruitment drive is all set to be available on the OJAS Gujarat’s web-portal from 13 to 27 May 2025. The selection is going to be done on the basis of the Written Exam, those who will be appointed for this post will get the monthly salary of 49,600 rupees, for the first five years, after which it will be ₹39,900 to ₹1,26,600.

GSSSB AAE (Civil) Eligibility Criterias 2025

The eligibility criterias for applying for the GSSSB AAE (Civil) Recruitment 2025 are available below, go through the listed points to check that you are eligible to apply or not.

1. The candidate must have pursued Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education.

2. The candidate must have adequate knowledge of Computer Operation, and also know Gujarati and/or Hindi.

3. The age of candidate shouldn’t be below 18 years and exceed 33 years of May 27, 2025.

Age Relaxation:

• The age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for the Male individuals belonging to reserved category, and female aspirants belonging to Unreserved.

• For the reserved category female candidates, there is an age relaxation of 10 years. PwBD candidates can get the benefits of additional 10 years of age relaxation.

Note: Degree holders in Civil Engineering or any equivalent qualification aren’t eligible to apply for this recruitment drive.

GSSSB AAE (Civil) Application Fee 2025

In order to apply for this recruitment drive through the web-portal of the OJAS Gujarat, a candidate will have to deposit the application fee of 500 rupees, female aspirants, Physical Handicapped category candidates, Ex-SM and male individuals belonging to reserved category need to pay 400 rupees.

The deadline to pay the application fee is May 30, 2025, aspirants will have an option to pay the required fee using the debit card, credit card, NET banking and UPI. It is mandatory to pay the required amount by deadline because without it no application form will be accepted by the GSSSB’s officials.

GSSSB AAE (Civil) Exam Pattern 2025

The GSSSB will held the written exam for recruitment of AAE (Civil) utilizing CBT or OMR Sheets, a total number of 210 MCQs will be asked from different sections:

Part A:

• Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 Questions, 30 Marks)

• Quantitative Aptitude (30 Questions, 30 Marks)

Part B:

• Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension (30 Questions, 30 Marks)

• Subject-Related Questions (Civil Engineering) (120 Questions, 120 Marks)

Each question will be 1 mark, candidates should know that there will also be a provision of negative marking of ¼ mark. To answer all questions, one will get an exam time duration of 03 hours, and the language of the paper is going to be English and Gujarati.
