Eligibility Criterias
The post-wise eligibility criteria for the 2025 recruitment by the Cotton Corporation of India is available below in terms of educational qualification, skills and age limit.
Management Trainee (Marketing)
- Educational Qualification: MBA in Agri-Business or Agriculture-related fields (e.g., Agri Marketing or Agri Economics).
- Skills: Knowledge of cotton/agricultural markets; and proficiency in computer operations.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years.
Management Trainee (Accounts)
- Educational Qualification: CA or CMA.
- Skills: Knowledge of Tally, ERP, and financial reporting; and basic understanding of GST and tax regulations.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Junior Commercial Executive
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc (Agriculture) with minimum 50% (45% for SC, ST and PH) score as aggregate.
- Skills: Field knowledge in agriculture or cotton procurement; and basic computer literacy.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Junior Assistant (Cotton Testing Lab)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electricals, Electronics, Instrumentation from any recognized polytechnic college approved by AICTE with an aggregate of 50% marks, 45% marks in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates
- Skills: Basic lab work skills and familiarity with cotton quality parameters; and computer proficiency.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
The upper age limit for the candidates who belong to OBC-NCL and SC or ST is 33 years and 35 years, respectively.
Selection Process
The selection process for the position of MT(M), MT(A), JCE and JA(CTL) under the CCI consists of a single stage: Written Exam. It is expected to be conducted in the third quarter of 2025 in online mode with an exam time duration of 120 minutes; a total number of 120 objective-type questions will be asked from the following sections:

Each question is going to carry a weightage of 1 mark with a provision of negative marking scheme; the medium of exam is going to be English and Hindi, except for the English Language section; to pass the exam a candidate belonging to UR, OBC or EWS need 40% score; and individuals who belong to SC, ST, PwBD or Ex-SM need only 35% score.
Application Fee
To apply for recruitment of MT(M), MT(A), JCE and JA(CTL) under CCI, a candidate who belongs to UR, OBC or EWS is required to deposit the application fee ₹1,000 with intimation charge of ₹500; individuals who belong to SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-SM need to deposit only ₹500 as intimation charge.
Pay Scale
Individuals who will be appointed under the CCI as Management Trainee (Marketing or Accounts) will get the monthly salary range from ₹30,000 to ₹1,20,000 (IDA); the pay scale for the Junior Assistant (Cotton Testing Lab) and Junior Commercial Executive is ₹22,000 to ₹90,000 (IDA).
