Eligibility Criteria

- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics or Physics from an institution recognized by the University Grant Commission.
- Age Limit: One’s age shouldn’t be below 21 years and above 37 years as of January 01, 2025. The upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for BC and EBC, and 5 years for SC and ST with an additional upper age relaxation for 10 years for PH category candidates.
- Physical Standard: The height of male candidate shouldn’t be 79 centimetres without shoes, and will show his height shouldn’t be below 84 centres. It is not applicable for female aspirants.

Selection Process
The selection process for the Bihar FRO Recruitment 2025 are the Written Exam, Interview and Physical Efficiency Test, as I have mentioned above, now let’s describe each stage in detail.
- Written Exam: It will be held in offline mode, there will be two papers.
- In the Paper 1, a total number of 50 MCQs of each 2 marks will be asked from General Hindi, to pass which one will have to get at least 30% score, it is qualifying in nature.
- In the Paper 2, a total number of 100 MCQs of each 3 marks will be asked from General Studies, which is score in nature.
- Interview: Candidates whose will pass the Written Exam by scoring the passing marks in Paper 1 and meeting or exceeding the cut-off marks in Paper 2 will be called for the Interview, it will be organized in face-to-face mode mode with a duration upto 30 minutes.
- Physical Efficiency Test: Individuals who will pass the BPSSC Forest Ranger Officer Interview 2025 will be called for the PET, it consists of a single event which is walking. A male candidate will have to walk 25 km in four hours, and a female will have to walk only 14 km in four hours.
Candidates who will pass the PET will be called for the Document Verification and Medical Examination, which is mandatory before the appointment. The final selection list is going to be prepared based on the performance in the Paper 2 of Written Exam and Interview.

Pay Scale
