The notification for the 71st Combined Competitive Examination 2025 is likely to be released by the Bihar Public Service Commission in the last week of May 2025, for which the application form will be available on the official website at https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in/ for approximately four weeks.
If you are one of the students who is waiting for the notification of this exam to be released then you must know that it will be conducted in total three stages, first is Prelims, second is Mains and third is Interview; it is possible that the first stage will be conducted in most probably in the third week of September 2025.
After the release of the notification for the 71st CCE by the BPSC, all the candidates will be able to apply by submitting the necessary details, documents and fee. Eligibility Criterias
To apply for this exam it is mandatory to meet the certain eligibility criterias in terms of educational qualification, physical standards and age limit.
Educational Qualification:
- BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBM or BFA from a university recognised by the University Grant Commission; or
- BE/BTech in any discipline from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education; or
- MBBS from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India; or
- BDS from an institution recognized by Dental Council of India; or
- BSc (Nursing) from an institution recognized by the NCI; or
- BAMS, BHMS, BNYS, or BUMS from an institution recognized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India; or
- BPharm from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India, or
- CA (Chartered Accountancy), CS (Company Secretaryship) or CMA (Cost and Management Accountancy).

Age Limit:
- One’s age shouldn’t be below 21 years as of August 01, 2025.
- The upper age limit is 37 years and 40 years for male, respectively.
- The age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for BC and EBC, 5 years for SC and ST with additional 10 years for PwBD.
Application Fee
To apply for the Bihar 71st CCE, one who belongs to UR category is required to deposit the application fee of ₹600 using the debit or credit card, NET banking or UPI. Female aspirants, PH candidates, male individuals belonging to SC, ST, BC and EBC are required to pay ₹150. Additionally, each candidate has to pay a biometric fee of ₹200.
