Eligibility Criterias
The eligibility requirements to sit in the AP SET 2025 are available inside the table.
| Educational Qualification | Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned subjects with at least 55% score (50% for BC, SC, ST & PH) from a UGC-recognized university. Individuals who are in the final year or semester of their PG can also apply for this exam. |
| Age Limit | There is no cap of lower or upper age limit to participate in the APSET 2025 for any subject, any age group of candidate may take part in this exam. |
Application Fee
To apply for the APSET 2025 for any subject, candidates are required to pay the application fee of 1,200 rupees. Individuals belonging to BC need to deposit 1,000 rupees, and those belonging to SC, ST or PH need to deposit 700 rupees. It can be paid using one of the provided payment gateway by deadline.
Exam Date
The APSCHE will soon announce the AP SET 2025 exam date. It is expected to be held most probably in December 2025. Aspirants are hereby notified that the exam for different subjects will take place on different dates, it is going to be organized from 09:30 am to 12:00 pm in a single shift across the state.
Exam Pattern
The APSET 2025 will be organized in offline mode using the OMR Sheets, there will be two papers in this exam. The Paper 1 will be the General Teaching (Research Aptitude), and the Paper 2 will be the Concerned Subject. There will be a total number of 50 MCQs and 100 MCQs in Paper 1 and Paper 2, respectively.
Each question in the APSET 2025 for all the subjects will be of 2 marks and no mark is going to be deducted for the incorrect response or unattempted questions. The medium of the exam will be English, except for the Language paper. To touch all MCQs, one will have a time duration of 2.5 hours without any break.
